Purpose

The main objective of the project is to provide comprehensive support for non-European Union citizens (including foreigners of Polish origin).

Moreover, the aim of the project is to develop structures and standards of a support system for foreigners on the basis of a cooperation network between public, self-governmental, non-governmental and private institutions as well as to enhance competences of staff employed in these institutions.

The additional objective is the integration of foreigners with Polish society.

A summary of the project

The project aims to provide comprehensive support for non-European Union citizens (including foreigners of Polish origin) – particularly in terms of ensuring advice in matters of residence legalization, administrative and legal issues, workers’ rights, integration consultancy and assistance, health care, psychological and social assistance, child care, employment support, acquiring language skills and integration with Polish society. Another significant element of the project is developing and updating a consistent integration strategy in the voivodeship and providing specialized training for coalition partners – employees of various institutions engaged in the project: teachers, representatives of social welfare centres, voivodeship labour offices and other institutions and organizations. The pursued objectives are contained in fourteen activities carried out in the period from December 2018 to February 2021.
